ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Tanner, a West-Coast based Actor and recent grad from Utah Valley University's B.F.A Musical Theatre Program.

I was born and raised in Utah where I also have been professionally performing for the better part of a decade now. Some of my favorite regional roles have been Mortiz in Spring Awakening, Earthworm in James and the Giant Peach, Rudolfo / The Escapologist / The Doctor in Matilda, and Young Scrooge in A Christmas Carol. In addition to that, I have performed in nearly forty productions; choreographed multiple shows, music videos, and a movies; and also have music directed several productions.

Most recently I travelled to perform for Shanghai Disneyland Resort and loved my time being able to do what I love while appreciating and learning a new culture. I'm really interested in continuing down that path of travelling and performing and would love to work tours, regionally, cruise line, and international contracts. I also enjoy swing work and have done it professionally with Sundance as well as multiple other productions.

Out of performing I have taught dance and voice at multiple schools and studios over the past six years. My Youngest student has been two and my oldest has been thirty. I enjoy working with school-age children and helping them find a love for art. I love being outside in nature but don't really enjoy camping. I love animals and working with them, except turkeys and chickens which I am convinced came straight from Hell. I also love plants, gardening, and floral arranging (shout out to Trader Joe's floral section.) I am also currently only four awards away from being an EGOT winner.
